Tobias Schamel is an M.Sc. Computer Science student at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), focusing on Natural Language Processing. He is a Visiting Student Researcher at CodeX – The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, interested in using Natural Language Processing to advance legal processes. Tobias is currently researching techniques to automatically check hearings and cross-examinations for consistency with a case record while also ensuring consistency within legal documents on a broader scale.

During his studies, he also worked as a Software Engineer/Consultant and spent semesters abroad at the National University of Singapore and Carnegie Mellon University.
