Ensuring Access for all Students

We worked with an eighth grader and his family to challenge the admissions criteria at the college preparatory public high school in his school district. As a result of YELP’s intervention, the district agreed to remove the requirement that applicants disclose any disabilities in their application or that they consult with their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team before seeking enrollment at the school.
