Catching up on recent news of probably interest to the CodeX community.

Congratulations to Robert (Bob) Ambrogi, who has launched his new podcast, named LawNext. It is available at iTunes Preview.

Ambrogi’s first three podcasts feature Nicole Bradick, Westlaw Edge, and Casetext.

Jacob Heller is Founder and CEO is a CodeX Fellow. Pablo Arredondo is Co-Founder and Chief Legal Research Officer at /casetext and is a CodeX Fellow.)

Ambrogi also writes LawSites.

Zack Warren, Editor in Chief at Legaltech News, today  reports that “LegalZoom has announced  $500 Million Investment, Among Largest in Legal Tech History. The investment, led by Francisco Partners and GPI Capital, puts the company at a $2 billion valuation and comes four years after a deal that valued the company at $425 million at the time.” Read it here.

And last but not Ieast, for those of us who are seniors — or have older friends or family members: This is one of the funniest thing I have heard in ages: “Amazon Echo Silver on Saturday Night Live. And it’s about tech!  🙂   [Note: you will probably have a quick commercial first.]
