Federal regulations require that all new Federal Direct Unsubsidized and Federal Direct Grad Plus loan borrowers complete federal loan entrance counseling prior to any disbursement of funds on studentaid.gov. All graduating students or students who take a leave of absence from the Law School must complete federal loan exit counseling. Exit counseling for graduating students is completed on studentaid.gov in the spring. Entrance and exit counseling covers such topics as loan repayment and debt management.
