Stanford Entertech & AI Lab (SEAIL)

Entertainment technology (“entertech”) enterprises today increasingly drive transformative creative processes and productions. New, nimbler players already have proven deft at inverting and decentralizing the existing order of traditional IP and production incumbents, bypassing age-old entry barriers as well as frictions along the way. By innovating at the frontiers of AI, computational law, and other evolving technological fields, they enable more efficient and inventive creative cycles in entertainment.

The Stanford Entertech & AI Lab (SEAIL) is dedicated to the future of entertech and AI. Its current focus is to bridge East Asia-based entertech pioneers with their Western counterparts, together reviewing and helping shape the latest developments in areas such as but not limited to:

– Gaming
– Entertainment agencies
– Music, including virtual idols
– Narrative art and collectibles
