You probably already know who you’re voting for in the Presidential election, but do you know how you’re voting on the many California ballot measures? Want to learn more about them before you decide? Not a CA voter, but interested in an academic perspective on some big potential policy changes?
Join SLS Women in Politics and Public Service (WIPPS) and the American Constitution Society (ACS) to hear SLS professors with field-specific expertise speak about the California ballot measures, which propose statutory and constitutional changes to:
- Public Health (Props. 14 and 23) – Professor Michelle M. Mello
- Affirmative Action (Prop. 16) – Professor Pamela S. Karlan
- Criminal Justice (Props. 17, 20, and 25) – Professor Robert Weisberg
- Tax Policy (Props. 15 and 22) – Professor Joseph Bankman
- Affordable Housing (Props. 19 and 21) – Professors Michelle Wilde Anderson and Juliet Brodie
