The Stanford Law School Immigrants’ Rights Clinic (IRC), Stanford Advocates for Immigrants’ Rights (SAIR), and el Centro Chicano y Latino will co-host a discussion with Lisa Knox, Managing Attorney at Centro Legal de La Raza, and Douglas Oviedo, a Honduran youth pastor who is among the plaintiffs challenging the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP). They will explore how the MPP, also known as the “Remain in Mexico” policy, play out on the ground, offering a client’s perspective on the policy and reflecting on future advocacy.
