Ethan manages the product counsel team at Anthropic. He works on issues concerning AI regulation, IP law, privacy, content moderation, and various other matters relating to Anthropic’s mission of ensuring transformative AI goes well for the world. Before Anthropic, Ethan led a product counsel team at Twitter, practiced tech and media law at Covington in SF, and clerked on N.D. Cal. He’s a 2012 SLS grad.
Aparna leads the litigation and regulatory team at Anthropic. She works on disputes and regulatory inquiries related to Anthropic’s business and counsels the company’s security function. Prior to Anthropic, she was a lawyer at Google for 12 years in a variety of roles, including managing a privacy legal team and working in public policy. She clerked on the Ninth Circuit for Judge Margaret McKeown, and is a 2006 SLS grad.
