We welcome Student Note submissions from any current Stanford Law School student or alum within 1 year of graduation. Submissions must be under 20,000 words (including footnotes), and citation style should follow that outlined in The Bluebook.

Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis, and authors can expect to receive a decision within a month of their submission. The review is conducted in a semi-blind manner: the Notes Editor makes an initial blind evaluation before the Board makes final editorial decisions.

Submissions should be emailed in PDF form to sjleb-board@stanford.edu. Please ensure that the PDF draft you submit does not contain any identifying information. Any questions may be sent to that same address.
