Above the Law broke the news that Big Law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore has announced a pay raise for associates: First years now get $180K/year, effective July 1.

Now, if we only can get Big Law to do a better job re: fixing the gender pay gap and diversity, incorporating more tech and providing better support for legal services for the 80% of Americans who cannot afford or find lawyers for civil matters.
