Advice for a Peaceful Thanksgiving: Change the Topic

It’s that time of year again when families get together to laugh, share a meal…and argue. Are you worried about what to discuss with Uncle Bob at Thanksgiving dinner or at the dessert table with Grandma Ruby? Following is a list of SLS faculty-recommended podcasts covering a multitude of interesting topics that can make for an enjoyable conversation and will distract even the most partisan family member. Slate’s Cultural Gabfest: Features Slate culture critics Stephen Metcalf, Dana Stevens, and Julia Turner debating the week in culture, from highbrow to pop.
