Winter/Spring Edition of Stanford Lawyer Magazine Now Online
In the latest issue of Stanford Lawyer magazine, the cover story examines a legal profession in rapid transition. “Law, Disrupted” explores how powerful AI tools are reshaping the field, with a close look at how Stanford Law is helping lead the way in research, scholarship, and the classroom.
The issue also features a conversation with Michael Strauss, JD ’01, general counsel of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and alumni profiles that highlight the range of paths a legal career can take, from Marshall Goldberg, JD ’71, whose work has spanned the DOJ and Hollywood, to three members of the Class of 2015 who turned a passion for sports into leadership roles in professional athletics. Also in this issue are introductions to four new faculty members—professors Tom Dannenbaum, BA ’03, Orin Kerr, MS ’94, Matthew Sanders, JD ’02, and Fred Smith, JD ’07—and a look at recent scholarship by professors Mark Kelman, Jud Campbell, JD ’11, and William B. Gould IV.
