Justice & Safety

On America’s streets, in its courts, and throughout the halls of government, flawed systems, racial bias, and abuses of authority fuel distrust in the institutions designed to uphold the laws and keep Americans safe.

Clear problems require practical solutions. Our work focuses on understanding these challenges and developing new strategies and frameworks to gather better evidence about what actually works to improve public safety and rebuild community trust. We are advancing policy solutions that better regulate the use of force by police and leverage technologies like AI to drive impactful research, aiming to create a fairer, safer, and more equitable justice system.
