Stanford Law School launched the Stanford Law Scholars Institute (SLSI) in 2022 to help create a legal profession that can serve all communities. SLSI is designed to provide support and training to undergraduate students seeking to explore the opportunities and benefits of a legal career for themselves, their families, and their communities.

A View of Law from High School
In collaboration with Envision, SLS invites high school students — young people who could someday be candidates for admission to law school — to experience what it means to study law and become a lawyer. Stepping into the roles of prosecution and defense legal teams, participants in Envision Intensive Law & Trial courtroom simulations grapple with ethical issues, craft oral arguments and question witnesses. Stanford faculty and guest speakers and off-campus field trips enrich the weeklong experience.
